In March we celebrated our stores First Birthday!! Our website actually launched in January 2016 but we opened the doors to our storefront location in March 2016. Let's take a look back, shall we...

I'm not sure these pictures have been shared before but these were taken just before we opened the doors to our little store for the very first time. My very sweet husband insisted we have a little ribbon cutting action and arranged the whole thing. I love that memory.
When our store first opened last year we shared our space with my friends antique shoppe (The Picksie Chick). Our families and friends had spent a few months helping us clean and decorate (ALOT of cleaning and decorating!!!) our new space and we were thrilled to open our stores together last March. We made lots of fun memories in that building that we lovingly named The Mulberry Street Market.
At the end of 2016 we had to relocate our business to a new space and The Picksie Chick moved her business online. We were blessed to find a cute new location in downtown Kokomo.
Lets take a look at where we are now...

Our new location downtown is a cute little space that sits on a sweet little block on Mulberry Street. We are situated next to several friendly neighboring businesses and we are loving that! We now share our space with my friends Art Studio (Shenandoahs Art With A Heart). Our shops are both open for different events throughout the month and we are able to rearrange the store easily and make it a fun place to visit for art and shopping! We've even begun hosting Clothing~Coffee~Canvas nights together and look forward to many fun events in 2017!

We celebrated our "First Birthday" with a very special March Market. I'm truly thankful to God for a successful first year in business, and even more thankful for all of the friendships that have come into my life because of it. For the past five years I've carried around a tattered yellow folder full of all of my ideas, hopes, and dreams for Be Belle Boutique. As a business owner I haven't done everything perfectly and I've made some mistakes along the way but I strive to serve people well and make our boutique a place they are always happy to visit.
I feel just as nervous every time I open the doors as I did the day of our Grand Opening. Always nervous that people won't stop in, but when they do, trying my best to help them feel welcome and beautiful. I'm so grateful for the help of so many of my family and friends along the way! I truly appreciate your support and excitement this past year! I'm looking forward to what's in store for this year!!
